Legislative, Regulatory and Policy Monitoring

We assist our clients in monitoring Bills and debates before both Houses of Parliament (the National Assembly and the Senate) as well as inquiries before the Houses and committees of the House. 

Our team also provides legal advice on the possible impact of proposed Bills, regulation and policy changes as well as recommend what changes ought to be enacted in order to conform to Acts of Parliament, regulation or policy if enacted, approved or implemented.

Legislative and Policy Drafting

We are specialists in providing training and drafting services to county governments and the national government, specifically on drafting Bills and subsidiary  legislation, reviewing Bills and legislation. We also provide assistance in the drafting of Bills and/or amendments to current legislation.

Public Participation Assistance

We prepare individual, or group written memoranda on issues under public participation succinctly setting out views on possible governmental action, legislation, policy and regulatory framework. 

Preparation for Parliamentary Committee/Public hearings and inquiries

We handle on behalf of clients’ hearings and inquiries before various committees of Parliament, which includes, the collection, collation and preparation of written evidence and the provision of legal advice on the mandate, processes and powers of various governmental bodies.
